Kristi and Kyle are a perfect match for each other. Y sus amigos están locos. Okay, so my Spanish is limited to online translations. But since Kristi and Kyle are both Spanish teachers, they’re real pros. And, yes, their friends are crazy. ”Good” crazy, but still crazy. We had great fun as we went from the bucolic country church in Ashton to the UW campus, downtown Madison and finally the Marriott Hotel for the reception.

Last Saturday’s wedding with Ryan and Heather was a great way to kick off the season. I always love it when a couple tells me to do what I want cuz they trust me and value my creativity. Love the vote of confidence! And because of that trust, I felt free to really rock it. We were even able to snag a few shots with the super moon before we left. It was hiding most of the night but the clouds managed to clear off for a bit, so we ran up to the rooftop at Monona Terrace. What a great day!

We were supposed to have sunny skies and mid-60s. Instead, we got overcast and 50 degrees. Thankfully, Kristi and Kyle brought their sunny dispositions to brighten up a dreary day. I figured that the least that I could do was to try to shine some great light on them and make some great engagement portraits. :) Despite the chilly weather, the Arboretum was full of color from the early spring blooms.

New for 2012: The Extreme Athlete session option. I’m proud to announce this exciting new option for senior portraits. It’s intense. It’s edgy. It’s grungy. But most of all, it’s cool and unique. Good luck finding this anywhere else cuz it’s home is HERE…and I’m protecting the house! (Well, I guess I really am, quite literally, but I digress.) It’s doesn’t matter what your sport is…football, baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, track, tennis, wrestling, underwater ping pong…I’ll trick it out and make it awesome. What’s this bad boy cost? The tentative price is $49 to add this special session onto your regular session.
