Jessica and Dan’s wedding had it all. I knew it would be a uniquely fun wedding when Jessica’s groom gift to Dan featured pieces from the collapsed Metrodome roof. These kids love each other so much (hey, I can say “kids” since I’ve officially been married 25 years now). They both had tears in their eyes when Jess came down the aisle, and you could just feel the love all day long. After the ceremony, we bopped across the street from Middleton Community Church and captured some of my favorite outdoor blue sky wedding shots ever at Pope Farm Park. We also hit the Capitol building for some classic images before we finished at the Memorial Union, where their wedding reception was held in the Great Hall. Two favorites moments from the reception: when Jess and her dad broke out into a choreographed father/daughter dance to “Dynamite” (it was awesome and brought the house down); and, when it was announced that Dan’s dad was giving them a surprise honeymoon trip to Ireland.
