Awards
Let's be frank about awards: I don't do what I do to win awards...but they sure are nice and they look pretty on my table and walls. LOL. But seriously, a satisfied client who raves about my work and tells all of her friends is worth more than any award. That being said, let's talk about awards again. :D
I've been fortunate to win more than my share over the past couple of years, and I admit that it is gratifying -- and humbling -- to have my work recognized by my peers. One truth about awards is that once you win one, especially a "Best of Show", you work harder and push yourself even more to create increasingly better work and top what you've done in the past. It's a key reason why my photography does stand out; I continually push myself to something new, different and stunning every time I pick up a camera. The benefit of this is a cadre of very happy clients. The side benefit has been the bucket o' awards that I've earned of late. I'm very glad and fortunate to have both.
